Day planner

Each row shows a city across the primary day. Drag the scrubber to preview another time.

Business hours now

Pin cities and compare time zones

Search any city, country, zone code, or UTC offset to pin it as a card with live flip digits and seconds. Each card shows the weekday, date, UTC offset, and distance from your time, plus a daylight saving badge while a zone observes summer time. Tap any card to promote it to the large primary clock. Up to 12 cities stay pinned, and the order can be rearranged for travel weeks. Cards also flag business hours so workday overlap is visible without opening the planner.

Day planner for meetings

The day planner shows every pinned city across the primary clock's day and highlights the hours when each city sits inside its 9:00 to 18:00 workday. Drag the scrubber to preview the whole list at another hour. The routine that works for most meetings:

  1. Pin each participant's city with the finder, or open a saved share link if the list already exists.
  2. Drag the scrubber across the planner to preview every city at that hour; the now marker keeps the live position visible.
  3. Look for the hour where all rows show their workday overlap highlighted at the same time.
  4. Copy the times, or click Copy link and paste the setup into the invite so everyone reads the same clocks.

Daylight saving without surprises

All times derive from live IANA zone data in the browser, so spring forward and fall back transitions apply on their own. Offsets and DST badges update on transition days with no manual tables. The primary clock, cards, and planner read the same source, so they never disagree with each other around a changeover weekend, even for zones with unusual half hour offsets.

Share the setup

Copy link encodes the primary zone and every pin into the address. Recipients open the same cities on their own devices with no account on either side. Bookmark the link for recurring trips or paste it into a calendar invite so the whole team reads the same times.

Remote teams and travel

Distributed teams pin each member city and check the planner before sending invites, which cuts the usual back and forth over offsets. Frequent travelers pin home and destination together to see both times side by side during a trip. Recruiters schedule interviews across continents by finding overlapping business hours first. Since zones update from the device database, summer time changes never need manual correction.

Frequently asked questions

How do I add a city to the world clock?

Type a city, country, zone code such as JST, or offset such as +5:30 into the finder on Flip Clock AI. Matching cities appear in a list with pin and set primary actions. Press Enter to pin the highlighted match, or Shift plus Enter to make it the primary clock. Popular country chips below the finder add common zones instantly.

Does the world clock use my location?

No, Flip Clock AI never asks for geolocation permission. The primary clock starts on your device's own time zone, and you add cities only by typing names, zone codes, or UTC offsets into the finder. City data comes from the built in zone database rather than any GPS check, so nothing about your position is ever requested.

Does the world clock handle daylight saving time?

Yes, times on Flip Clock AI come from the IANA time zone database built into your browser, so daylight saving changes apply automatically. Cards show a DST badge while a zone observes summer time, and UTC offsets update on transition days. The primary clock, pinned cards, and day planner read the same source, so they always agree with each other.

How do I share my list of cities?

Click Copy link or press L on Flip Clock AI. The primary zone and every pinned city are encoded into the address, so anyone opening the link sees your exact setup on their own device. Bookmark the link for yourself or send it to teammates before a trip. No account is needed on either side.

Can I use the world clock offline?

Partly. Flip Clock AI caches its pages, so on an already visited device the world clock and your pinned cities keep working without a connection. The city finder reads live zone data, so adding brand new pins is more reliable while online. Pinned cities keep showing correct local times offline because their zone data is already stored.

How many cities can I pin?

Up to 12. Flip Clock AI shows a running city count and announces when the pin limit is reached, and pinned cities can be rearranged or removed at any time. The primary clock sits outside the pin count, so you always have one large clock plus twelve pinned cards. That covers most travel and team setups comfortably.

How do I find a meeting time across time zones?

Pin each participant city on Flip Clock AI, then drag the day planner scrubber across the primary day. Every row shows that city's local hour, with the 9:00 to 18:00 business window highlighted and overlapping work hours marked. Copy the times once you find an hour that falls inside every participant's workday.
