About
Flip Clock AI is a free online flip clock that runs entirely in your browser, with a timer, stopwatch, pomodoro timer and world clock. It is built and maintained as an independent project with no investors, no account system and no advertising.

What Flip Clock AI is
Every page keeps the same folding-digit display: you choose a skin once and all five tools restyle together, because the look is shared. The site never asks you to sign up, never asks for personal data, and never shows ads. Your settings live in your own browser and nothing you configure is uploaded anywhere.
The five tool pages share one clock engine, so the timer, stopwatch, pomodoro and world clock all show the same large flip digits you see on the main clock. That also means one skin choice and one digit size covers the whole site.
What is included
Each tool lives at its own URL so you can bookmark, deep-link or fullscreen exactly the tool you need:
| Page | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Clock | Live local time with optional seconds, date line and AM/PM badge. |
| Timer | Countdown with presets of 5, 10, 15, 25, 30, 45 and 60 minutes, custom lengths and five alarm sounds. |
| Stopwatch | Laps and splits with best and worst marks and CSV export. |
| Pomodoro | Focus and break phases with 25/5/15 minute defaults and an adjustable plan. |
| World clock | Pinned cities compared on one time scale, plus a 9:00–18:00 business-hours view. |
| Aesthetic | The styling studio: 16 skins, 12 accent colors and 11 backgrounds shared by every tool. |
What it deliberately does not do
Some limits are worth stating plainly, because a clock that hides them wastes your time:
- No account and no cross-device sync — settings are saved in the browser you set them in.
- No wake-up alarm — it is a display and focus tool, not a bedside alarm clock.
- No geolocation — the world clock only shows cities you choose, picked by hand or from its city list.
- No server-side features — timers, pomodoro counts and session stats stay on your device.
- No OBS-style URL parameters — overlay customization happens inside the interface instead (see the stream overlay guide).
What the site does promise: it stays free, it runs locally, and installed copies keep working offline after the first visit.
Privacy in one paragraph
Skins, accents, backgrounds, digit size and the pomodoro day count are written to browser local storage under this site's own keys. A custom background image is stored as data in your browser and is never uploaded. There are no tracking cookies in this build. The details, including what is never collected, are written out on the policy page below.
How it is built
The clock reads your device's system clock and formats it with the browser's own time-zone database, the alarm sounds are synthesized at play time with the Web Audio API rather than downloaded, and a service worker caches pages so installed copies keep working offline. The page below explains each mechanic and links to the underlying standards.

Bug reports and feature ideas are welcome. The contact form opens a draft email to hello@flipclockai.com, which is the project's only support channel.
